The Hamburger Button and Menu
Settings and options for LinkFixer Advanced are available on a menu displayed by the {☰} button in the top-left corner of the main box:
Clicking on that button displays the following menu:
Network Locations
The “Network Locations” view shows the status of mapped drives, connected SQL Server databases, SharePoint and OpenText connections and Network Places in the local area network or domain.
Only drives that appear in the “Network Locations” screen will be visible in the folder selection screens of the other LinkFixer Advanced processes. You will need to refresh this screen, in order for LinkFixer Advanced to “see” the newly-connected drive or drives. The columns are sortable for ease of use.
The “Network Locations” screen is also the place from which you establish connections to SharePoint, OneDrive, OpenText and SQL Server databases.
Network Locations Button Bar
{Add…}
Click the {Add…} button. This allows you to add the settings for an OpenText, SharePoint or SQL Server location. LinkFixer Advanced will present the specific configuration box for each server type. Make any necessary entries and click {OK} to close the box.
{Edit…}
Click the {Edit…} button (or double-click on a SharePoint, OpenText or SQL Server entry in the “Network Locations” screen) to change the settings for a SharePoint, OpenText or SQL location. LinkFixer Advanced will present the configuration box. Make any necessary edits and click {OK} to close the box.
{Remove}
Click {Remove} to remove LinkFixer Advanced’s connection to a connected OpenText, SharePoint or SQL server.
{Refresh All}
Click the {Refresh All} button to rescan the local area network or domain for available and connected network shares, SharePoint sites and shares that may have been connected or disconnected after LinkFixer Advanced was launched.
{Refresh Selected}
The {Refresh Selected} button rechecks the connection status of the selected resource, drive, or drives.
{Import…}
Click the {Import} button to import a list of SharePoint Site Collection URLs. LinkFixer Advanced will present the box shown below. In order to import the CSV file must follow a specific format that can be obtained by manually adding a single SharePoint Site Collection and then using the {Export…} button.
{Export…}
Click the {Export…} button to export a list of SharePoint Site Collection URLs.
LinkFixer Advanced will present the box shown below.
Dashboard
Click the {Dashboard} button to see an overview of previous runs of LinkFixer Advanced.
Settings
Click ☰ | Settings to open the following box. In here, you can inspect and modify your program settings.
Detailed information about settings can be found in individual settings’ tooltips where necessary.
