For the millions of die-hard Game of Thrones fans out there, 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, 21 August marked the end of a three-year viewing drought. Episode one of the Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon, aired to an audience of almost 10 million viewers (HBO’s biggest series premiere, ever) and it did not disappoint. As first episodes go, this was a great one.
