Release NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK, USA — LinkTek Corporation’s flagship product, LinkFixerPlus, won the Best of Show award for the Web Design software category at the Internet World Fall 2002 conference in New York. The Design category is comprised of programs used to build, enhance or manage a Web site, such as HTML authoring software, multimedia software and graphics editing software. “Forward-looking companies such as LinkTek are coming out with innovative technologies that enhance the power of the Internet,” stated Tom Halligan, Conference Chairman for Internet World Events and Editor-in-Chief of Internet World magazine. “LinkTek’s LinkFixerPlus makes the Web easier to use and improves the viability of Web development companies.” Mr. Halligan further recognized LinkTek’s early success during an interview on CNNfn, a national news and financial cable television channel produced by the editors of CNN and Money Magazine. The Best of Show awards, sponsored by Internet World magazine, are given out to the products or services judged to be the most noteworthy out of all the innovations represented on the show floor. Winners were chosen by an expert panel of Internet World magazine editors who place priority on a product’s ability to work with existing standards and the degree to which it contributes to the development of future Internet products and services. Sony and Computer Associates were winners in other categories. Developed for Webmasters and Web site development teams, LinkFixerPlus is the first software application that fixes broken links totally automatically.
